Software as a Service, or SaaS, is relatively new in ICT. However, the concept of off ering enterprise software
packages via a hosted model as monthly licenses is gaining popularity all over the world. Flexible work hours, working from home or being on the road demand a new ICT infrastructure.
Cloud storage makes data accessible from every computer or mobile devices connected to the internet. Maintaining software licenses from one centralized web based portal for multiple customers brings great benefits for system integrators and software vendors
End-users benefit from this licensing model because of lower costs and greater fl exibility and scalability.
